December 25

When basic tracks for this song were recorded in summer 2025 at Mazzive Sound in Bellmund it was just a song idea with no title and no lyrics. As further production of the recordings was delayed at one point this song without a name has turned into a Christmas story.

Songtext

Always a smile and a little something to give
That's how it used to be in the older days
But now it seems our hearts have turned to stone
With so many hands reaching out for help

Have we lost our sense of discernment
Has indifference taken over
Is this the path we've chosen
Is this the way things go?

See that couple walking down the street
Pregnant teen with her bearded spouse
Something 'bout them I cannot explain
But then again I think there's just too many folks in need

Have we lost our sense of discernment
Has indifference taken over
Is this the path we've chosen
Is this the way things go?

They say it felt like lightning struck
But softly in a peaceful way
More powerful than sound of thunder
That music no one has ever heard
They say it was a tidal change
The power of heaven in neediness

There's something 'bout this new born child
His teenage mother, her bearded spouse
They say these tiny hands will open gates
To a brand new era to a different world
If you believe
